Legionella
- Question
- Hello expert team,
Legionella has been detected in our water supply (in a multi-apartment building). What can we do now?
Best regards, - Answer
- Dear inquirer,
If you are a tenant, please contact the property owner or property management. Heating the water storage tank to above 60°C helps to combat Legionella. Please be aware that water temperatures of around 50°C may occur at the taps, and particular caution is required to prevent scalding. It is best to consult a specialized professional.
Sincerely,
