- Stays in hospitals
- Hello, my son with cystic fibrosis has already been hospitalized once and has been in emergency a second time for other reasons than cystic fibrosis (stitches, ...) and each time the hospital staff was not aware of hygiene measures to be adopted (wearing gown and mask). It is sometimes difficult for us, parents, to say the doctors that it will be better if they wore a gown or at least a mask ... Is there a "protocol" or documents that we may have and give to the hospital staff to inform them of precautions to take with a CF child? Thank you.

- Painting with mutation 2789+5G A
- Hello, I am carrying the mutation 2789 +5 G A. I don't have enough money to pay a painter and I absolutely must do interior work (for a healthier environment, wallpaper peeling off, accumulating dust below) and outside. I have 2 questions for you please: Outdoors, glycero paint, and water, do I have to wear a mask? and inside, what would you recommend? (is't not me who will dismantle wallpapers, and I shall use paints with water environment label) Is an F1 mask enough? I know the F2 mask are the protectors (yes? But if paint?) but I'm afraid of running out of air (if they are made of big thick foam that I 've seen) . Or, should I buy these masks in a hardware store? (and in this case, what should I choose?) A little lost to protect me in this case. Thank you very much for your help, cordially.

- Wet home
- Hello, I have a little 5-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis, this summer we want to go on holiday next to Pornic (44) where my grandparents have a small house but we sleep in the bungalow (it’s an old garage). They live 50 meters from the sea, the bungalow is wet, they put regular anti-humidity trays! With storms this winter the door was very wet and warped, I'd like to know if this moisture may have consequences for my son, especially moisture from the sea! But he would sleep in a room where there is a sink. We have stayed there 3 years without consequences for my son! But perhaps there is more humidity and the mattresses are old and dusty, poorly ventilated! What do you think? And what solutions? Thank you in advance.

- What is the best disinfectant for swimming pools
- Hello, I have got my answer that the use of a SPA Jacuzzi was not recommended in CF, so I'll guide me to purchase a pool and I would like to know what product (chlorine, bromide ....) is the most effective for Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other bacteria cordially

- Aspergillus
- Hello. My 7-year-old son is colonized with Aspergillus, this was detected at the yearly blood evaluation. A treatment with itraconazole has been initiated. Could you please tell me the consequences of such a fungus in the lungs of my son? Does it indicate a change of direction of the disease? Do you consider this as a factor of severity? What about the prognosis? Thanks for your response.
