Physiotherapy
Hello, Our 10 months-old daughter has already had the opportunity to see 3 different physios (when vacation of its main physio) and it turns out that none has the same technique ... One washes the nose with physio serum at each session and makes her cough and drool / spit (this is rather productive) while others do not at all, and another makes movement with both hands (one on the lungs and the other under the diaphragm) and makes them join while others take my daughter seat and put both hands on her chest in a softer way ... How can I know what is the right method? Is it necessary that it causes coughing? Is it more effective when the child spits / drools or it does not matter? Are there even "mandatory" actions even though the methods may be different? Thank you for your answers.

Respiratory physiotherapy training
Hello, Again thank you for all your answers that bring us so much as parents of a child with CF. I would like to know what are the steps to take to be trained in respiratory physiotherapy. In addition, we have a physiotherapist who comes home twice a week when things go well and comes every day in case of bronchial obstruction. Our daughter accepts well the session. The session lasts only five minutes. Although our daughter is not obstructed I cannot explain to the physiotherapist the real issue for a patient with cystic fibrosis. I gave him the brochure of Vaincre la Mucoviscidose (the French CF association) but he says that it is just what he does. I would like to know if he could be trained. I really would like he keeps on following my daughter and to be sure of its effective practice. Thank you by advance for your answer. Cordially.

Endurance race
Hello, Can a small 40-minute endurance race for about 4.5 km replace a physiotherapy session in a 9 year-old child who has 6 sessions per week. There is no breathlessness, no cough nor bronchial congestion during this effort. A big thank you and to your team for your answers.
