- Respiratory function - thoracic distension
- Here is my question : I recently realized pulmonary function tests which showed increased residual volume and total lung capacity (RV=180% et TLC= 132%). I have never smoked but have had quite frequently a dry cough without expectoration for many years. Could you help me understand these results. How can a so big thoracic distension be explained? - Dear expert team, I am pregnant and have CF, and would now like to know how the birth of the child will happen. Will it be born in the usual way or by cesarian section? What would be the gentler way for the mother? Many thanks in advance and kind regards.

- Can the new drugs (Vertex) only used with F508del homozygous or would that also be possible with F508del and IVS8T5? Can one tell exactly from the genes or through a test (e.g. blood) what our son's "protein problem" is? Many thanks.

- Hi, I have a daughter that was diagnosed with DeltaI507 from mother's side and 3272-26A>G from fathers side, she has never had an symptoms and is perfectly healthy at 7 years old. Nevertheless, I am pregnant and would like to know if you have any record of this combination and what the expression is like.
