- Blueish tongue
- Should one be worried when one repeatedly has blueish discoloration of the tongue? Is this a sign of shortage of oxygen? Can it occur in young children? Is it part of CF?

- An experiment
- In the context of an experiment in school. It’s known that CF patients loose more salt than healthy people. This is due to the defect in the CFTR-protein. I would like to prone my experiment as follows: First I measure the amount of salt in the blood of patients with CF before they have eaten. Then I have them drink a salty liquid. For instance a sports liquid and then I measure the salt content again. If the patient still loses the same amount of salt, drinking this salty liquid will have a positive effect on his salt balance. I just don’t know where I should measure the salt content given the limited possibilities in the lab at our school. I don’t think a sweat test will be an option. Should I measure it in the saliva or in the urine?

- association in Morocco
- Hello, A friend has a 9 month old baby, he has just been diagnosed with CF. The doctors are not trained because there are very few cases in Morocco. I am doing some research to help. I turn to you. Are there specialized units? Rabat? Casablanca? .... Is there an association that could help? I gave him of course the link of the French Association"Vaincre la mucoviscidose" Thank you for your attention I.

- Hello I have a question about the graph (Figure 4) on page 4 of the french CF registry: what explains the lower probability of survival of the cohort 2007-2009 as compared to other birth cohorts? (dropping out of the curve between 2-3 years duration).
