- Hello, Our 13 year old son would spend his next summer vacation in a summer camp and enjoy the adventure. As he is chronically colonized with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, he receives Colistin inhalation and Pulmozyme daily. His FEV1 is 95% and he is very fit, but we are not "hot" for him to go camping. What about hostels or summer camps in terms of hygienic rules ? Do you have addresses of institutions adapted (not for IV treatments !) Or vacation ideas that meet the constraints of care while taking into account their need for emancipation? thank you in advance for your advice

- My husband was tested for CF at Horemion. According to the answer we received the results are not indicative of any presentation of a CF mutation, but one change was detected in the sequence of the CFTR gene (2752-15G/C), which, due to its location, is considered neutral without any pathological consequences. Can my daughter, who is a simple carrier of the DF508 mutaion, carry this sequence as well, and not suffer from CF?

- After the amniocentecis the mutation DF508 was detected in the embryo in heterozytotical form. In the test results it is mentioned that a molecular screening is necessary, which was conducted at Horemion laboratory. It is also mentioned that the analysis regarding chromosome 13 was not informative after the analysis of two polymorphic indeces. The final results are expected after the culture. Can the above have anything to do with the presentation of CF in the baby?
