pancreatic enzymes
If a child (2 years old), is given his enzymes prior to a meal and refuses to eat what are the possible consequences ? If antibiotics are given preventively, should it be given three times daily or if once a day is just as good? Where can I get recent information on the effects of clapping twice a day? Many thanks for your answers. Dr. Linda Talbot

air conditioning
Hello, We plan to move in an apartment that can be hot in summer. My 2 year old daughter has CF and I'm afraid she might suffer from heat and dehydration. We thought to install air conditioning but we recognize the risks of these facilities. Do you have a position regarding air conditioning at home for CF patients?

Cystic fibrosis and hygiene at home
Hello, I am the grandmother of a 1-year-old CF little boy. When he visits my home, what precautions should I respect so he is not in touch with Pseudomonas aeruginosa? How to clean (bleach or Sanytol or equivalent) and where? Is it necessary to eliminate all flowerpots? Can he go to the garden? Thank you for your help.

Swimming in lake
Hello, I'm an adult with cystic fibrosis 36 years and I'd like to know if swimming in the lake (freshwater more generally) is not recommended because it would involve risks of infection. Is it better to go "off" rather than at the edge where water is more stagnant? Regards.

Paternity with MRSA
I (male, 34, CF with MRSA and Pseudomonas colonization) will be father of twins soon. What do I have to take especially into account after birth? Just concerning the MRSA I am a bit insecure if besides strict hygiene there has to be taken anything into account. I do not want to encounter my littles with a face mask all the time... How suceptible are newborns? Many thanks for your answer.
