Rain water
In our new building we have to reuse rainwater. As a preventive measure, is it not better to flush your toilet with tap water instead of rainwater? Does this increase the risk of contamination?

Riding/horses hygiene
Hello, my daughter wants to take riding lessons. My question is, if she is allowed to ride also in the riding hall or it this rather risky? And what about going into the stable to the horses? Is this a risk, too? Would a face mask be helpful? Best regards,

Gene editing
Hello, The last magazine edited by the French CF patient organization indicates that genetic editing techniques, for correcting the genetic material in a relatively simple and inexpensive way, have been developed. They allow to avoid vectors and correct cells directly. Could we have more information? Is it the work done by a team of researchers from Yale? Is it to correct the gene or a mutation in particular? Thank you very much for your answer.

Creon®
Hello is Creon® effective if it's taken during the meal (because it's difficult to gauge the quantity of food which will be consumed by a young child, so could we give one Creon® at the beginning and then a second during the meal if the appetite is there)? And in case of forgetting, is taking it at the end of the meal interesting? Thank you

What carpets? Kilim?
Hello, I am in couple with a CF woman, and we wonder if some carpets are preferable for inside, or if they are all disadvised? If the woolly carpets retain germs, the kilim is flat and solidly braided. But could it suit? Thank you for your lighting.

Aspergillus and cortisone
My pulmonologist put me under symbicort (budesonid + foromoterol for inhalation) because of the radiography, nothing visible. It has been 3 days since I take it but today I had the results of the expectoration exams and I see a mycosis with aspergilus fumigatus. Do I have to continue the cortisone? I had several times some voriconazole and it is still in my pharmacy; while waiting for my pulmonologist could I begin voriconazole?

Swimming pool with salted water
Hello Is it dangerous for a CF patient to bathe in a swimming pool of salty thermal water? There is, in Germany, a thermal swimming pool (Solymar) which uses salted (3%) thermal water. I read that the salinity of the sea water oscillates between 2 and 4 %. Is it risky to go with our child (by avoiding showers and footbath)? Thank you very much

Increased IgG value
Dear expert team! I would like to hear your judgement probably also your advice concerning the following situation: Immunoglobulin G value actually 2100!! Actual colonization with germs: achromobacter (2 different strains), Staphylococci. Highly allergic 17-year-old girl, also again and again Aspergillus in the sputum (is at the moment treated with itraconazole). Is there, according to your opinon, a chance to lower the IgG value also with oral antibiotic therapies or is only an i.v. antibiotic therapy helpful respectively more sensible with such a high value? I am aware, that the Aspergillus is more reflected via the IgE value, however can that rather chronic colonization not also influence somehow the IgG value? This values hints at a chronic inflammation, doesn't it? What can one do in order to control this value partly? Many thanks for your appreciated answer, D.
