Candida Serology

Question
What means "Candida Antigen < 1: 4/ Ref.-interval"?
Answer
Dear questioner,

The serological results reveals that the Candida ELISA method did not detect serum antibodies against the Candida antigens used in the assay. It does not tell you whether Candida infection is absent, which can only be diagnosed when clinical specimens yield negative Candida cultures.

Yours sincerely,
