pepper
- Question
- Hi, we have heard about bacteria in pepper (pseudomonas ? cepacia complex ?). Is it true, because we don’t use pepper yet? Thanks.
- Answer
- Hello. Thanks for your question. The entire world around us is composed with various microorganisms, and then. So, there are also microorganisms in all foods, pepper included. To my knowledge, bacteria like salmonella rather than pseudomonas or cepacia complex are found in pepper. Nevertheless there is no medically-proved interdiction to consume pepper in case of CF disease. With my best regards.
