Info or instruction for daycare or school?

- Dear,
Is there a ready made CF information leaflet for school or daycare? Preferably not longer than an A4 with a short intro of what CF exactly is. Why Creon is important, little specifics you should know (for instance not mixing enzymes with the food). I want to make such an info leaflet, but if it already exists, I don’t have to go through the trouble. Thanks for your reaction!

A ready made info/instruction leaflet for school or daycare does not exist. Many patient organisations do have information leaflets. So we suggest that you contact the patient organisation in the country where you live. To make your own leaflet, you could of course extract info from the ECORN database. You will find answers to several of the questions you ask: information about school and daycare, info about CF, why CREON is important etc. Before you hand the leaflet out, the content should however be checked with a CF expert, preferably a doctor. I wish you lot of success and I hope that the ECORN database helps you to make this leaflet.
