Colomycine, the trade name Colistin, exists in Romania as a powder which can be dissolved for parenteral administration (injection). From case to case, it can be used as a nebulized solution, one ampoule of 1 milion units can be dissolved in 6 ml of saline solution (NaCl 0,9%).
Currently there is on the market in our country, nebulized tobramycin, known as Tobi®, wich is specifically recommended for the treatment of Pseudomonas infection in cystic fibrosis patients, as your doctor might recommend you.
