- Is anything known about CF and increasing the immunity with homeopathic medicines or vitamins, minerals, amino acids or trace elements? Or is there any information about non registered medicines that is of importance?
- Answer
- The effect of homeopathic drugs is rarely studied to the same extent as drugs used in classical medicine. In classical medicine the effect of a specific medicine is compared to placebo (similar looking tablet or treatment without activity) in well controlled clinical trials. To our knowledge no placebo controlled studies are available for any homeopathic medicine in the field of CF.
We therefore cannot give you specific information.
