I read in the package insert that Pulmozyme® (DNASe) should not be inhaled with ultrasound nebulizers.

- Dear questioner,
Pulmozyme® can be nebulized with the eflow rapid®. The eflow rapid® is not an ultrasound nebulizer but a so-called swinging membrane nebulizer that does not produce heat that could be harmful to the protein components contained in Pulmozyme. (This is based on the manufacturer's information.)
