- The main way to make life easier for people living with cystic fibrosis is to optimize not only length of life, but quality of life.
The management of these patients must have the following objectives:
- A maximal ambulatory management.
- Optimized access to care and in particular in case of emergency.
- A multidisciplinary approach with a dynamic network combining local physicians, physiotherapists, nurses and providers.
- Integration of the CF child in the school.
- A treatment plan taking into account the privacy of the patient and his professional constraints.
- Psychological care of the patient and his family
- Finally, consider the patient as an actor his illness (therapeutic education).
