Elastase test

- I would like to ask about the elastese test. Must the stool sample be of the same morning as the test, or can it be of the night before? Is the test necessary for social security?

- Dear friend,
A recent stool sample is required for the fecal elastase test for checking the pancreatic function. In special circumstances a sample may be stored in the fridge for later use.
This kind of test is not required for licensing of professionals working in restaurants or other professions of hygienic concern.
