humidifier

Question
I would wet my interior to maintain a proper Hydrometric rate and of course do not use standing water.
What do you recommend?

Answer
Hello
There are no recommendations to my knowledge of using humidifiers at home for patients with cystic fibrosis because these devices bring more risks than benefits.
The ideal relative humidity recommended after the French experts, stands between 45 and 65%.
I can only recommend a few simple steps for a stable air with a correc t relative humidity in your home:
- Ventilate the room regularly
- Check the operation of Controlled Mechanical Ventilation (CMV) in wet rooms (kitchen, toilet, bathroom)
- Do not overheat the rooms (especially the bedroom), maintain a temperature of around 18 ° Celsius.

Despite this short answer, nonetheless I hope I answered your caring parent's question.
