CF children
- Question
- What has to be considered in a family with two CF children? How can we live a normal life and protect our children of the exchange of bacteria?
- Answer
- Hello ,
typically, in case of living closely together, the exchange of specific bacteria – in this case Pseudomonas aeruginosa- cannot be avoided. However, we see again and again families, where there is no transmission for many years. We really do not understand this, this has however nothing to do with possible hygiene or with precaution. Therefore, it is very important to think about not to get overly excited and to live really normally together as a family.
Yours sincerely,
