Pseudomonas: Is there any danger in the lawn?

Question
Our son, 8, wants to play football/soccer in a club. He is active in sports, a member of a gymnastics club and karate. Our question: Is it dangerous to play outside when it is raining and the lawn is wet or when the lawn ist still wet because it rained the day before and the drops fall on him?
Thank you very much for answering this question.
Answer
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a germ which can be found in small numbers everywhere in moist environments, in lakes, rivers and brooks, and in the soil. Rainwater is nearly germfree. Doing sports is fun and healthy. Your son will suffer no harm from playing football when it is raining.
