Playground?

Question
As the children grow up their need to socialize grows as well. What happens when the birthday party of her best friend takes place in a (indoor) playground? What must I keep in mind?
Answer
Dear friend
In general you should avoid closed spaces with lots of people, especially during winter when viral infections are common. On the other hand, as you write, the children need to socialize.
I do not think that the risk at the (indoor) playground is bigger than the risk at the day care, the kindergarten or at school. You can visit the playground beforehand, inspect and ask questions about the hygiene and the cleanness.
Furthermore, you can stress to the child not to put things into her mouth that do not belong to her and to wash her hands when you finish your visit at the playground. The above depend of course on the age of the child as well.
