- Can we fill a small pool for a 2-year-old CF child with water from the garden hose? I feel that the hoses are real nests for bacteria, with stagnant water and are often in the sun. ....

Oh, what a pleasure for a child to have fun in the water, isn’it ?
For all to enjoy and to simply answer to your question, I advise you to purge the hose before each filling and protect the hose from the sun as much as possible.
