- Thank you Madame Ronayette for your answer, which raises another one: why the topic of aromatherapy is not currently investigated in clinical research? (I think including massage application, in addition to conventional treatment)?
Does medical education in France today includes sessions on this topic ?

I can not answer this question. For a clinical research project to be launched there must be a team of doctors, with a good knowledge of the subject, a protocol (project) must be written. We must then find a developer who agrees to finance the study: a pharmaceutical company or association or a hospital .... .. Etc.
Perhaps the data available to date on aromatherapy are not sufficiently convincing to be investigated in clinical research.
About medical education, to my knowledge the subject of aromatherapy is not addressed.
