Question
Hello,

Are public parks (slide, swing, etc) not recommended for children with cystic fibrosis? Thanks
Answer
Hello,

Children with cystic fibrosis can visit and enjoy public parks.
In contrast, when small, it helps to develop motor skills while having fun with other children the same age.

As after any outdoor activity that can be messy, it is recommended that the child washes its hands back to the house and before eating. If there is doubt about the presence of stagnant water in the park, it is best to prevent children from touching.

Offer to drink regularly, because children do not necessarily feel thirsty. If in addition the weather is sunny, it is important to protect them with hat, cream and sunglasses to avoid dehydration.

By taking these precautions, they can enjoy a good time at the park.
