Gastric problem
- Question
- Hello,
My daughter has always stomach problems that have worsened recently. I wonder if an infection in the esophagus (examination in progress) may cause a decrease in breathing because antibiotic treatments for her lungs turn out to be not effective anymore.
Thank you. - Answer
- Hello,
It is difficult to answer your question without knowing the exact nature of the examination. It is probably no infection of the esophagus, but can be a search for gastroesophageal reflux. In cystic fibrosis, it may exist a gastroesophageal reflux that can promote respiratory problems.
