- Dear Questioner,
The recovery of this and other species suggests that the CF lung is an ecological niche capable of supporting the growth of a wide variety of bacteria rarely seen in other clinical samples. The relation of Comamonas testosteroni to the pathophysiology of Cf lung disease is not known but my personal view is that if it contributes, its impact is small.
