Sweat test

Question
Hello,
The sweat test result of my daughter is very high (above 250). I thought I read that above 150 it could be a technical error. What it really? Are such results common?
Answer
Hello,
It is physiologically impossible to have chloride concentrations in sweat above 150 mmol/L in an individual in a normal state of hydration. A sweat test giving a value greater than 250 is very suspect of error and should definitely be remade in a specialized center using a technique dosing chlorides only.
