My mother has had a diarrhea and subsequently a sub occlusion. She is now very tired. Is it a frequent event ?
Answer
Yes, distal intestinal obstruction and constipation are frequent events in CF adult patients. To prevent this event patients need to drink enough, to use correctly their enzyme replacement therapy and to take polyethylene glycol oral laxatives in case of constipation.
