You are asking about therapy options if pseudomonas was found in a nasal swab. I assume you are a CF patient and you are referring to a confirmed swab result showing the pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) germ only in the upper respiratory tracts but not in the lower ones. In this case, proof of PA in the nose can mean a so-called early or new colonization. Since proof of PA in CF patients constitutes a prognostic aspect, one would try to eliminate the germ from the upper respiratory tracts before it reaches the lower ones (bronchia/lungs).
There are not yet any evidence-based therapy recommendations for new colonization of the upper respiratory tracts with PA, but the clinical trials carried out so far show good effects of inhalative antibiotics applied intranasally (inhalation through the nose). There are devices on the market by now that can be used for intranasal inhalation. The inhaled antibiotic can thus reach the sinuses. The patient should discuss the therapy details about with his/her treating CF doctor.
