- Hello,
many thanks for your informative answer, which has already helped me. I am in my late forties. An X-ray has been made which says "rhizartrosis left, subluxation in the thumb saddle joint with joint space narrowing. MTP joints inconspicuous."

Hello,
this rather speaks against CF arthritis. You should thus consult with a hand surgeon and get his/her advice.
