- I would like to ask how possible it is for a child with asthma and a negative sweat test to have CF? Is there any further checking necessary?

Your child suffers from asthma and it did a sweat test. If the test was performed with the method of iontophoresis of pilocarpine in an experienced center and the results were normal, there is no need for further testing.
