This question is very aspecific. It is therefore impossible to formulate a good answer.
First of all, it depends which techniques were used to decide that the lungs are not yet affected.
Furthermore, it depends on whether it concerns a person with mutations that do cause cystic fibrosis, or mutations in the CFTR gene that for example only cause infertility in men (for example: R117H-7T).
