Should an individual with CF avoid green houses such as botanic gardens? What about the bacterial conditions?

- Hello,
In green houses higher temperatures and humidities are present which support better growth and survival of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Although no exact data are available, one can conclude that in green houses there are more of these bacteria on plant surfaces and in the air compared to lowere temperatures and humidities. Therefore, I would recommend that risk patients such as patients with CF should avoid these environments.
