I have Cystic Fibrosis. Is it better not to shake hands during the winter months (e.g. birthdays)? Will I get less sick that way?
We just discovered my 12 years old CF son had Scedosporium. His FEV1 went down to 80%. Is there a treatment against this fungus to help recover his FEV1, that was always 100%? I am worried.

On the internet I read articles highlighting the resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa against carbapenems. Still they are used in patients with cystic fibrosis to reduce the Pseudomonas aeruginosa (like they do with my daughter). Could you say something meaningful about this?
